Scott and Lisa Severtson, along with children Levi, Amy and Molly own Severtson Land & Cattle. They farm at Innisfail, AB, and also own a ranch in Kenaston, SK. They started in the Gelbvieh business in 1988 and run a herd of 1,000 Gelbvieh and Balancer females, along with Red & Black Angus and Simmental. The Severtsons hold an annual fall female sale and spring bull sale. They were named Canadian "Outstanding Young Farmers" in 1999, the same year they won Grand and Reserve Bull Champions at the Denver National Western Stock Show. Severtsons lead a busy life with their three children all involved in sports, 4-H and youth activities.

V & V Farms is owned and operated by Vern & Vivienne Pancoast in the dry southeast corner of Alberta, a land base of 7000 acres, half of which is farmed plus 3000 acres rented. Our 240 red females consist of mostly purebred Gelbvieh with a few Balancers and commercial females kept for embryo recipients. Our whole herd is DNA profiled. Artificial Insemination is extensively used as well only the best walking bulls that can be sourced service the herd.

Eyot Valley Ranch is a purebred Gelbvieh seedstock farm located minutes south of Leduc. We run 60-70 breeding females. Our motto is "Home of Some Dam Good Cows" and we have been concentrating on exactly that; good temperament, good feet, udders and easy fleshing. We have been fortunate in the last few years to achieve the 2008 GAA/BC Breeder of the Year, 2008 Agribition Sweetheart Classic winner, 2009 National Bull Futurity winner, as well as the High Gaining Gelbvieh Bull and High Indexing Gelbvieh Bull at the 2008 Lakeland College Bull Test Station. Brittain Farms consists of a land base of 1400 acres in north central Alberta. Kelly and Colleen farm with their son Gary, daughter Nicole and son-in-law Brad Hollman of BNH Livestock.
