The Hurst family recently relocated their farm in 2010 to the area of West Grey, just minutes from the beautiful shorelines of Georgian Bay, Lake Huron and in the heart of the cattle counties of Grey-Bruce. While the rebuilding of their Registered Gelbvieh herd is underway, the Hursts have partnered with Gelbvieh Breeders in Western Canada, as well have brought in some new males and females to increase their genetic pool. They continue to show and promote the breed at local fairs and 4-H events around the province. Paul and Laurie are active members of both the CGA and ECGA and Paul has been on both boards. Jason is currently sitting on the CGA board. They have shown their Gelbviehs at the Royal, Farmfair, CJGA events and several local fairs every year. Proud supporters of 4-H.
