Benefits of Membership

As a member of the Canadian Gelbvieh Association, you can register your Gelbvieh cattle in Canada. Seedstock animals with documented pedigree and performance information are especially valuable in today’s information age. In addition, benefits include:

  • Opportunity to take advantage of programs such as the Feeder FaxLine, Replacement Females, and the All Inclusive Whole Herd Program.
  • The opportunity to participate in an industry leading performance program.
  • Be part of national and regional promotion programs
  • Receive the Gelbvieh Guide magazine, the official publication of the Canadian Gelbvieh Association.

Junior Members

  • Receive membership services such as processing of registrations at the preferred CGA member rates.
  • Receive notification of CGA National Junior Programs as they become available.
  • Eligible to apply for and/or compete in the CGA National Junior Gelbvieh Programs
  • Active Junior members, upon reaching the age of 21, can become regular CGA members by paying the annual membership dues.
